Headlight in Trucking is a fulfillment of a vision that God placed in the heart of Rev. Samuel C. Rust II, while he was pastoring in the mid-seventies. During a trucking shutdown, the Lord spoke to Sam, "Will you take the Gospel to truck drivers?" His answer was, "Lord, I don't know how, but if you will be a lamp on my feet and a light on my path, I'm your man."
Headlight in Trucking delivers the salvation message of Jesus Christ to the over-the-road truckers by means of 18-wheeler rigs, converted into rolling churches. We bring the church to the road, ministering in truck stops, providing much needed counsel and encouragement to the lonely driver, many miles from home.
